There has always been talk(even this year) of other options, committes and so forth. I just wouldn't be surprised if they ended up with someone else should they find themselves in a decent spot down the road. Not a terrible guy by any means, he is just not highly thought of and will have to be better going forward to maintain the job for the season. Decent K rate, too many walks. Not sure why, he's probably around the 10-15 mark of all closers in the league this year. Everyone wants a Kenley Jansen ( Not this year's version tho ) to close for them. I think that Judge deal was good for both sides, as TTP knew he had to make it nice to get Judge. Ultimately he should be happier but I like VD's guys there. Getting Betts in the other one was great as well. And then SHaw... Yeah... TTP has VD's number for sure. Flaherty/Yelich is real interesting give your settings. Holding both in my dynasty and while I'm winning, I can sell to rebuilders for stuff to further secure my season. But if they're gonna be great....I'll just hold off on shopping them.
