Comerica Park is huge, great for pitchers, and a pair of strong arms take the hill. LA is in town with an offense ranked just 19th in runs scored, 24th in on base percentage. Hector Santiago (2.91 ERA) has been great for the Angels and shut down the Tigers when he faced them earlier in the year allowing 3 hits and no runs in 7+ innings. The Under is 7-3 in Santiago's last 10 starts with 4 days of rest. Detroit is on a 4-0 run under the total at home and has Justin Verlander throwing smoke, allowing 1, 0 and 0 runs his last three starts. Verlander struck out eight and limited the Rangers to four hits in seven strong innings Friday. He allowed just two runs, one earned, but got no run support and ended up with his sixth loss of the season. The Under is 5-0-1 in Verlander's last 6 starts vs. the Angels.
