Free Selection from Mr. Vegas

Mr Vegas FREE MLB play for Friday, August 28, 2015.

Minnesota is home from a trip to Tampa Bay and the Twins are 3-8 in their last 11 games vs. a left-handed starter. They face southpaw Scott Kazmir (2.39 ERA). Kazmir earned his seventh win of the season Saturday against the Dodgers, allowing just one run with eight strikeouts and one walk in six innings. The Astros are 24-8 vs. a team with a winning record. Kyle Gibson (8-9) has marginal stuff with the Twins 3-4 his last seven starts. The Twins are also 9-23 when Gibson faces a team with a winning record. Play Houston!

Free Selection from Jeff Saad of Las Vegas Sports Services

8/28/2015: Friday Free Play:

Detroit has no problems on offense, Top 6 in runs scored, second in on base percentage in all of baseball. But this pitching staff is suspect, including tonight's starter Matt Boyd (7.04 ERA). Opponents hit .333 off him. Detroit is on a 4-0 run over the total on the road and 4-1-2 over against the American League East. Toronto has the No. 1 offense in baseball and the Jays are on a 7-0 run. R.A. Dickey goes here, allowing 5 runs in each of his last two starts, both wins by scores of 12-5 and 8-5. The Over is 11-4-2 in Dickey's last 17 starts vs. a team with a losing record. And when these teams clash the Over is 13-3 in the last 16 meeting, including 5-2 at Toronto. Play Detroit/Toronto Over the total.

Free Selection from Jim Feist

Jim Feist's Free Play for Friday, August 28

8/28 07:05 PM  MLB   (901) MIAMI MARLINS VS (902) WASHINGTON NATIONALS

Take: UNDER THE TOTAL.

Reason: Your free play Friday, August 28th 2015 is in the MLB contest between the Miami Marlins and the Nationals in Washington. Washington is a huge park, great for pitchers, and a bad Miami offense is in town, 28th in baseball in runs scored. Miami is on a 4-1 run under the total, plus 12-4 under when the Marlins face a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15. They face one of the best starters in the game in Max Scherzer (2.79 ERA), with a 201-26 strikeout to walk ratio. The Under is 4-0 in the Nationals last 4 games vs. a left-handed starter and this shapes up as a low scoring tilt. Play the Marlins/Nationals Under the total.
