Derek Holland (2.82 ERA) has a 20-1 strikeout to walk ratio in 22 innings. Holland (2-1) was excellent on Sunday, giving up three hits and striking out 11 batters in a complete-game shutout against the Orioles. The Rangers are 25-9 in Hollands last 34 starts vs. the American League West. Meanwhile LA is on a 4-9 run and the Angels are 3-9 in their last 12 games vs. a left-handed starter. Jered Weaver (6-10, 4.94 ERA) has not had a good year and took the loss Sunday against Cleveland, allowing eight runs and nine hits and four walks while striking out two over six innings.
