KingRevolver
Trust me- you need to download it and scan your computer- if you don't already have it. http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html You can thank me after you do it. Unbelievable- the amount of bullshit I had on my computer.

mikeman
I never run any anti virus, never had a problem either, those programs find things so you think you need them, it's all bullshit.
ted sheckler
Had my laptop at work that I use strictly to watch Streamhunter on/other sports sites. Kept getting some weird internet popup that I would just need to "X" out of, but it'd cover a third of the screen. Normally I just fresh install windows when I run into something that I can't get rid of. Instead downloaded malware and cc cleaner, ran them both, and had zero problems. Didn't realize a free scan would work so good. If you're streaming sports from somewhere to your computer, it's definitely needed to clean up things you may not realize are slowing down your pc. KingRevolver
Exactly right, Ted. My computer running much better without all the crap bogging it down.

yisman
used it for like 4 or 5 years now when I first started protecting, this predated MBAM so I used spyware blaster (still use, doesn't use RAM, it's preventative), Ad-Aware (stopped, because their newer releases became annoying), and Spybot Search&Destroy (still use on some computers). hustledouble
Anti-Malware Bytes is a must. Pretty amazing how terrible Norton and McAfee are. They're basically industry-backed viruses themselves.

hustledouble
How many of ya'll use Ad Block? It's kind of controversial among content creators I guess because so many rely on pop-up ad revenue as the engine for their work, but using it on streaming sites is a must IMO. I've become a "x" clicking ninja over the years, pretty sure I can clear a FirstRow screen with my eyes closed.
