sleepy
All these teams would be two TD underdogs on a neutral field to any of the top 3 teams in the power conferences. Temple got exposed by a mediocre Notre Dame team and they are probably the best of these mid major teams. stick any of these teams in the SEC and they don't even crack the top ten With four spots no way should they be allowed in over the conference champions in the SEC, B1G, ACC, P12 or Big12

Big Bear
An Undefeated Memphis deserves to get in over a 1 Loss Bama. My reasoning is simple. Common opponent Ole Miss. Alabama got they ass whooped at home against Ole Miss. Memphis straight up curb stomped Ole Miss. Case closed.

FISHHEAD
Navy may give Memphis a battle this week. Memphis has the best shot at the playoffs of the teams OP mentioned.

FISHHEAD
Memphis already beat the best team in the SEC. One of the best anyways. ........and they still have bouts with Navy, Temple, and Houston on the slate, plus their title game(Temple again?). They run the table, them making the playoffs at this semi-early stage is a real distinct possibility. If Temple had defeated ND, Memphis running the table would have made them a huge favorite on making the playoffs.
maron
Question is if an undefeated Memphis which beat ole Miss, Houston, and Temple gets in over most if not all one loss schools..... FISHHEAD
Again, think it's best to wait for a couple more weekends of football to be completed before we waste our breaths and fingers on this........although it can give us something to talk about and make money with. FISHHEAD
LOL......Mighty, that's a ridiculous assumption, they're in with a perfect season, almost a given. Again, to early to discuss, they would have to rattle off FIVE more straight wins to go perfect, NOT likely.
WVU
Houston is the best of the bunch and is a legit top 10 team. No one would be favored by 14 over them on a neutral field. Bama -10 or -11 tops
FISHHEAD
Houston opponents thus far this season .........18-47 The jury is still very much out on them........their best wins this year have come against a pair of so-so 4-4 clubs, Louisville and Tulsa. Houston hosts Memphis in two weeks.
