Deal With It
Matt never came out and said he wrecked Joey on purpose. With a straight face, he said his car wouldn't turn and they probably should have stayed in the garage.
Deal With It
If you come out and announce you are going to wreck someone intentionally, you are only fined a few bucks and some points.
Deal With It
Danica Patrick's act of revenge against David Gilliland Sunday at Martinsville Speedway will cost her $50,000 and 25 points, NASCAR announced Tuesday. Upset with Gilliland for pushing her into the wall on Lap 158, Patrick later sought out and pushed Gilliland up the track, which caused her to spinout and prompted NASCAR to display the yellow flag. Under the subsequent caution, Patrick then sped up to rundown Gilliland, where she preceded to rear-end him and severely damaged the nose of her No. 10 car. Patrick immediately drove to the garage and did not return to the track. Before their final encounter, Patrick said several times over her radio that she would retaliate. At one juncture Gilliland, driving a special paint scheme, passed Patrick unbeknownst prompting her to say, "Damn it, I was meaning to take him out. I'll have to next time.'' http://www.sbnation.com/nascar/2015/11/3/9667072/danica-patrick-martinsville-david-gilliland-penalty
