markinsac
The Rams, the Chargers and the Raiders all will be ready to move. Who will it be?
FISHHEAD
Hopefully the Rams
markinsac
According to reports, the team may play their first season at Dodger Stadium while the FB stadium is built downtown. I don't know why they wouldn't play in the Coliseum. The Rams, Raiders and Chargers are out of their stadium leases and there isn't much hope of new stadiums being built in their current home cities right now. LA's the place. A metropolis of nearly 20 million will be starved for a team and would undoubtedly sell out every game.
pokerjoe
As a San Diegen I say, if the choice is between building a new stadium for rich football-team-owning assholes, or losing the team, I'd vote: BYE BYE. This isn't some fly over state. If the Chargers leave, that means, on a given Sunday afternoon, we only have 999 things to do instead of 1,000. I grew up in Maryland and lived there still when the Colts left. This wouldn't be that.
wrigley
The raiders or Rams
mikeman
Why would the rams leave, what are they bitching about?
Brutus Buckeye
The Raiders aren't going to move. It's all a bluff. I'm guessing the Chargers. They will keep it in state.
KingRevolver
Why does a football team have a hard time surviving in L.A.?
pokerjoe
It is an odd thing, isn't it KR? Dodgers, Lakers, Kings, even the Galaxy, are all among the premier franchises in their sports.
KingRevolver
It certainly is odd considering they are a major market. It's been 20 damn years...
