It will go to your profile, and then when you hover your mouse over the same empty face guy in your profile, it will pop up an edit avatar thing. Chris yours is cropped weird, I had the same problem, I had to re-size it in paint and re-upload it. Need to increase avatar size IMO, think it's already mentioned though.
