ERBtheGREAT
They always charge more for the small packs, which is perfect for me for a lunch and dinner. All that chicken was 58 bucks and should last me almost into June

ERBtheGREAT
1.99 a pound, pretty standard sale price here
mikeman
I usually get the bigger(thighs or quatrers) packs that are 99 cents regular marked down to 39 or 49 cents/lb as they're short dated. If you're fortunate they haven't even developed slime yet.

ERBtheGREAT
I always put the eggs inwater and make sure they don’t float. I had bad eggs before the date went by so it’s just a habit now. I highly recommend this bacon, far superior to the cheap stuff that is usually 4-5 bucks a pound anyways. Nice ziplock too where you can take a few pieces out and put the rest back. Best bacon I ever had was served at the Northern Quest Casino in Spokane, WA. Kanas City style bacon, mmm... What is Kansas City bacon? Kansas City Bacon. Made from a pressed pork shoulder and smoked. A meatier cut of bacon compared to regular bacon. Canadian Bacon. Made from the loin this bacon is one of the leaner cuts. ERBtheGREAT
Thick cut bacon or nothing Jim. I even save the grease to cook veggies or burgers in the pan. Old trick my grandpa used to do.

It you worked to pay for your food instead of mooching off your parents and getting food stamps you could also afford to make that choice

Not kidding, they're "late" oct dated, still good though, just had 2 for breakfast. i think i have another 4 in this carton, have a fresh carton ready to go dated Dec, those will be good till june. in all honesty i guess i should pick up the pace. All those dates are just for the suckers, with the exception of dairy and meat, everything lasts forever.
ERBtheGREAT
I’m pretty frugal but that’s dangerous, Mike. Put them in water, if they float you are taking a big risk.
