Thread page numbers & page display problem resulting from posts per page user setting

-I would like to be able to see the page #s for the thread I click on specific thread i.e. 1, 2....., X ( X being the last thread page) under the thread titles. That goes for the main forum index where you see the topic thread titles, and in navigating inside the specific topic threads.

 

- Inside threads to go to specific pages I have to click on the arrow navigation (which is fine) but since i've displayed 40 posts per page (in my user settings) a thread might be listed as having 5 pages but in reality it's only 4 pages with 40 posts per page displayed. So often I'm clicking on page 5 of a 5 page thread using the arrow navigation but it doesn't exist with my settings in place. It seems the vbulletin software is out of sync with this change for displaying the threads. It's nothing major but quite annoying when navigating the forum and sometimes causes problems.
