The Seer
Buying Entries The entry fee for the 2014 $100,000.00 Survivor Pool is $25.00.You are allowed to purchase up to 15 entries and receive a discount if you purchase all the entries at the same time. The entry fee scale is as follows: Entry #1 = $25; Entries #2-5 = $20each; Entries #6-10 = $15; Entries #11-15 = $10 each.If you are going to take full advantage of the discount, it is advisable to purchase all of your entries at once. You can purchase your remaining entries at a later time; however, your first entry will again cost $25. For example, you purchase your first two entries on Monday and subsequently pay $25 for the first entry and $20 for the second entry. Later in the day, you decide you want two more entries; you'll have to again pay $25 for the first and $20 for the second. When purchasing entries, your funds will be deducted directly from your account.Bonus funds cannot be used to purchase entries. All purchases are final. Before clicking ‘Buy In’ on the payment page, double check that you are purchasing the correct number of entries. If all of the remaining contestants are eliminated prior to the end of the season, the contestants that were alive heading to the final week of the competition will split the Grand Prize equally. For example, if three contestants are alive heading into Week 14, but all three are eliminated; those three contestants will split the Grand Prize. If there are at least 300 entries alive after Week 14, each contestant must select three teams that will win their Week 15 game. Moreover, if there are between 80 and 299 entries alive after Week 14, each contestant must select two teams that will win their Week 15 game.If there are at least 200 entries alive after Week 15, each contestant must select three teams that will win their Week 16 game. Moreover, if there are between 40 and 199 entries alive after Week 15, each contestant must select two teams that will win their Week 16 game.If there are at least 35 entries alive after Week 16, each contestant must select three teams that will win their Week 17 game. Moreover, if there are between 10 and 34 entries alive after Week 16, each contestant must select two teams that will win their Week 17 game outright. If numerous contestants are still alive after Week 17, they will split the Grand Prize evenly. If a game is canceled or postponed for any reason and the game is not played before the following Wednesday, both teams scheduled to play in that game will be graded as losers. If you selected either of those teams you will be eliminated from the contest; however, your buy-in will be refunded. This contest can be modified at any time. The Seer
How are sportsbook.ag payouts lately? Anyone know? That sounds like a great deal to me, and also fun on top of that... Last year payouts were good. Same as 2001 when I opened my account. Only 10% bonus but no games with that money except freeplay maybe. It looks like $250 for the full 15 lives. This may mean that the rule at week 14 if 400 are alive, then must pick 3 teams, 300 pick 2 teams....more rules to whittle it down. Read rules carefully
KingRevolver
I never tried this except for fun and did not go past week 4. I tend to get screwed in the first couple of weeks on a big favorite.
The Seer
I tend to get screwed in the first couple of weeks on a big favorite. I think that I will enter. I have the Packers +177 or +6 as my opening day pick. Packers SU is a good choice. I think that if a player does not buy the 15 for $250, he is losing +EV. An economist will say that the book is getting your consumer surplus. It's buying one for $25 and not buying the ......five for $50.
hustledouble
I played in the EoG (I think?) one last year which was double elimination and still only lasted four weeks. .....*signs up*
