MR NBA gets it.

I always ask for "light ice" which I hope is a *hint hint* for them that I am a hardcore degen that needs stiff drinks and action... it usually works out.

For me it's all about speed and how stiff the drink is, although I know that's not really her job to advocate for me most of these servers have good relations with the bartenders.

Usually if you look out for them they will look out for you.

Unless of course, you're anywhere besides the great state of Nevada. At New Orleans Harrahs they have a machine selection and you must pay for your liquor unless it's well shit. Sick! and crazy. People love New Orleans and other than the gulf, the music, the girls, the drugs, the wild ass parties...I just don't get it. I have to pay for a bourbon to play slots? Fuck that noise.

if you need quick booze, why not just carry airport bottles around? i did that for the better part of 20 years, then no matter how slow or fast the service i could always have a swig. sad that when i tried on jeans i always wanted front pockets big enough to hold a wallet on one side and 4 bottles (7 shots) on the other :smiley-laughing001:

  • 4 weeks later...

First time I made a bet in a vegas sportsbook I walked up to the counter and said I wanted to bet $170 on the Heat spread.

Everyone looked at me like I was speaking in a foreign language.

The guy was all confused trying to find the game number and told me that I need to learn how to bet before placing a bet next time.

He made me feel like a loser, probably how Wade feels some days.

Was he really that rude? Unreal. And we're supposed to tip scumbags like this at the window?

Was it busy? Was there a line?

You do need to learn how to bet. Look at the board and find the rotation number you fucking square.

:smiley-laughing001:

J/K. I'm sure I probably did the same thing my first time.

Yeah, everyone makes those same mistakes when they do something for the first time. You should've seen the first time I played single-deck Blackjack. :doh
