Playing cards at the B during the WC, me and a guy were chatting and decided to bet a parlay to put an edge on the games about to start. We each kick in 100, he goes to the window, I keep playing, he comes back and returns my 100, saying "they needed supervisor's approval and couldn't get a supervisor and I got tired of waiting." This on a sport with, iirc, 30 cent lines. Pretty craptastic that you can' post a line and take a bet with 30c lines on stuff that's available offshore for huge limits and 6c lines.
