Miami Heat at Toronto Raptors

Breaking down this match up.

Indiana's Paul George did a fantastic job on DeRozan, holding him to around 31% shooting.

Kyle Lowry also shot particularly poorly in the Indiana series from 3 point, making 7 of 43.

Toronto is the 2nd team in NBA history to win a series with their 2 top scorers shooting under 33%.

Toronto was awful and still advanced.

The Heat played 7 with Charlotte, who recorded their 1st playoff win after being blanked 14 straight in game 3. Charlotte's 2 best players did not play in whole the series, yet the Heat were pushed to a game 7 after the Hornets could not eliminate them in 6.

Something to think about, Miami's bench got outscored 32-23 on avg, by Charlotte's reserves in that series.

On the flip side, Toronto's bench outscored Indiana's 34-27 on avg.

Toronto has won L5 of 6 vs Miami.

Unless Paul George is suiting up for Miami tonight, DeRozan is going to come back to planet Earth,

and if Lowry and DeRozan can both play to their potential this a bad a match up for the Heat.

Raptors are juiced at -190 which is a bummer, but there is potential for a good value LIVE on Toronto if Miami does come out guns-a-blazin' which I think they will. Look for a strong start out of the gate by Miami and a floundering in the 2Q by the reserves, particularly if Whiteside picks up a foul or two early on.

Not playing the vigorish and don't want to eat the points, I'm going to snipe this one LIVE.

TOR game 1 LIVE

TOR 2Q and/or TOR 1H LIVE

Yeah I just think DeRozan's GOTTA come back to Earth.

Him and Lowry played so poorly against Indiana, I mean just couldn't hit water if they feel out of a boatboatboat but somehow they were able to advance.

If their 1Q play looks about as much BS as a screen door on a submarine i am OUT.

This is an ugly game.

Toronto isn't playing great, they have 5 turn overs in 1Q.

Miami just can't hit a barn door with a banjo right now.

Very ugly basketball.

1Q was tied.

I got Toronto 2Q at -118

That equates to Toronto (PK) 1H.

the 1H game line was -2.5 at -105.

However it was by the grace of God that Wade missed that last second jump shot.

Wade will hit that shot 60% of the time.

Joe pub, across the street, everyone and their mother cashed on Miami game 1.

Kyle Lowry is now 8-42 from 3 point range in the playoffs.

8-42.

Lowry currently is shooting 30.6 percent in the playoffs, the worst postseason percentage by any NBA player in the past 50 years (minimum 100 attempts total).

50 years.
