I was waiting until somebody was in my neighborhood. Thanks, WVU. Yep, $2M is the number. Out of mortgages and debt and living comfortably with a $2M hit. $450? Good LORD...

I gambled away over $700,000 in a 25 year period---now my gambling habits are much different, actually a little winner last 10 years---$100,000 with my retirement income, I would live very good and never be broke again.

Maybe 100 grand. It would mean I retire very soon, and that would change my life.

Whatever could allow me to work from home, which, considering other investments, our financial situation, our debt situation, my wife's job, general life circumstances, etc etc, is only about $1,500 more dollars per month. It's close.

Follow up question should be, what would you do with the life changing amount? I said $150,000 because it's enough to pay for the 10 acre bass pond I want and a nice cozy cabin. I want my own slice of the country, soon. To me that would be life changing.
