Who would have thunk it?

 

The writing has been on the wall for a while now, but Florida has reportedly made it official: Will Muschamp is out as the Gators head football coach.

Andy Staples of SI.com first broke the news Sunday morning, with ESPN's Brett McMurphy confirming and Mark Long of The Associated Press stating Muschamp will still coach the team's final two games:

Looks like Houston is trying to get Muschamp as head coach.

 

The guy is OK as a defensive coordinator, but head coach is more than he can handle.

Became DC of Auburn last night instead of pursuing the Houston job. Is now the highest paid coordinator in NCAA i believe

 

Muschamp and Gus could be a lethal combo for the rest of the SEC.
