Pinnacle moved a bunch of users to pinbet88 and messages are saying accounts suspended?

I checked pinnacle's twitter and there's nothing addressing this

@PinnacleSports Please can you clarify what is http://www.pinbet88.com/  ?

I have an account with OLEBitcoin - who are agents for Pinnacle, Bet-IBC, SBObet etc.

When logging in to the regular Pinnacle using my OleBitcoin login I am redirected to http://geeaktoa.pinbet88.com/member/web

OleBitcoin takes bitcoin deposits and converts to Euro and you get a credit applied to your Pinnacle acct.

They payout in Bitcoin.

Pinnacle still silent on the issue.

They screwed up everything for people who use Pinnacle through agents.

I don't understand, how did they screw anything up?

You log in to Pinny and they direct you to the new site.

Then you bookmark the new site and always log in from there.

Eezy peasy.

I just figured something out on the new Pinbet site.

If you have set the page to display Decimal odds the  amount entered in the bet box is "risked".

If you have set the page to display American odds the  amount entered in the bet box is "to win".

Figured it out by accident - I was trying to bet my balance on a -125 and was getting "insufficient funds" messages but when I switched to decimal 1.80 I could bet my balance.

So how do you have an account at pinnacle anyway?

The usual way is to register with an agent or signup directly using a non US address.

If you use non US addy you may have to have documentation to prove address.

Not difficult for Americans close to the Mexican or Canadian border.

You need to be able to prove residence in the country.

Right, thats what I meant in line two.

It's probably not worth it for most people just to get a Pinny acct.

As you know lots of institutions outside of the USA don't want to have anything to do with American citizens.

Nothing personal, it's strictly business. Dealing with the US government is a pain in the ass and foreign companies want to avoid the hassle.

When opening a bank acct in Canada you will be asked if you are an "American" person, ie either a citizen or resident of the USA. This is a requirement and not an option. Uncle Sam is watching Americans everywhere, not just inside the USA

Same thing when opening bitcoin accts at Canadian exchanges, NO Americans! And they are strict.

Turned a €25.00 deposit into a couple of hundred Euro playing at Pinnacle through OleBitcoin.

Requested a bitcoin withdrawal, my entire balance, around 10PM Thursday.

Just received an email from OleBitcoin:

Hi Plommer,

We regret to inform you that we cannot process, as of this time, your requested withdrawal due to Pinnacle's system technical error.

We will proceed with your request as soon as Pinnacle's system is back to normal. We will inform you once done via email.

We sincerely apologized for the inconvenience this may brought you.

Not a good start. I don't see an issue.
My bets were accepted and graded correctly and my balance is showing correct in my Pinny acct.
They say they are not a bookmaker, so I don't see an issue.

No, I'm not worried about getting paid, I am skeptical though. They say payouts take a MAX of 24 hours.
We'll see.

pinnacle busy having lots of "technical errors" at the moment

I got paid in bitcoin a couple of hours after receiving the "payment on hold" email. So it's all good now.

Lets hope they straighten out the issues in the sportsbook.

In the meantime I'll go back to betting at Nitrogen.
