Which is faster? Greyhound or Horse?

Horse track was on the outside of the dog track.  If the starting gate and dog box were lined up then the horse ran a significantly longer distance. The horse needed the gate to be ahead of the dog box for a fair race.  Rigged for dog to win.

they ran the same distance

look it up, greyhounds can run faster than thoroughbreds, but like i said a quarter horse can beat a greyhound in a sprint

The Greyhound’s running style is actually like that of a cheetah’s, employing what’s known as the double-suspension gallop. Unlike horses, which have only one period during their galloping stride in which all four legs are off the ground at once (the period when they are all contracted beneath the body), Greyhounds and many other fast dogs have two periods of suspension during their fastest gallop: the contracted phase, like the horse, plus the extended phase, like the picture of the Greyhound on the side of the bus. This is called a double-suspension gallop. Its feet touch the ground only 25% of the time it is running.

Greyhound is faster.  But race was run over a short distance which favors the crazy acceleration of the greyhound.  And the horse had a rider on top.  Didn't see a rider on top of the greyhound.  Dog on track.  Horse on turf.

Pronghorn antelope. Twice the size of the greyhound. 15+ mph faster.  Better endurance.

Cheetahs just win by being much faster than everyone and being able to change direction like a motherfucker.
