Sol Diabler
San Antonio Dallas Houston Memphis Golden State Portland LA Clippers Phoenix/OKC (When Durant comes back) Give me the 8th best team against the top team in the Eastern conference in a 7 games series. What a joke the East is. Pathetic.
Sol Diabler
Let's get Tripp in here telling us there are 4 or 5 Eastern Conference teams better than the 8 or 9th best in the West. So we can all make fun of him.
milwaukee mike
toronto right now is the 4th best team in the nba, but they are the ONLY east team in the top 9! you're right, it's crazy how relatively bad the east is http://www.usatoday.com/sports/nba/sagarin/
KingRevolver
East has blown for years. I'm really surprised the NBA front office hasn't attempted to do something about... The Suns are currently in 8th place with an 8-5 record. If they were in the Eastern division, they'd be tied for the third best record. LOL

KingRevolver
They should consider swapping Milwaukee and Detroit for OKC and Memphis. Might actually make things more interesting.
Sol Diabler
toronto right now is the 4th best team in the nba Thats subjective.
tripp
Toronto is a legit good team, Chicago at full strength is very good. Washington is pretty good, rest of the east sucks right now. West is stacked Cavs have the talent to give any team a run so i wouldnt count them out come May/June but they have to get WAY better as a team. They play embarrassing defense night in and night out and somehow think they will win games. Offense usually is pretty terrible to in terms of flow and movement. Lots of guys standing around waiting for Lebron or Kyrie to do something.
Sol Diabler
Why would i say that? LOL. In good fun Tripp. You usually seem to enjoy being the contrarian.
Chickadee
It will take awhile for the east to catch up since there was so much mismanagement and/or outdated thinking while the west was more progressive.
milwaukee mike
Thats subjective. no, it's subjective that you say the 8th best team in the west is better than the best team in the east. toronto is OBJECTIVELY the 4th best team in the nba based on sagarin predictor ratings (essentially the basis for point spreads)
tripp
Kidd doing good things in Milwaukee. Never got all the hate he was getting as Brooklyns coach last year. He was great making adjustments in the playoffs series vs Toronto

yisman
nothing new here East has been terrible for years Miami and Indiana the only good teams in the East the last couple of years. Now Miami is crippled with no LeBron and with Wade being Derrick Rose. Indiana lost Paul George (to injury) and Lance Stephenson (to free agency). Last year, if you listed the top 10 teams in the NBA, Miami and Indiana probably would've been the only two teams from the East to make the list. 4-8 in the East did not deserve to make the playoffs. Sol Diabler
no, it's subjective that you say the 8th best team in the west is better than the best team in the east. toronto is OBJECTIVELY the 4th best team in the nba based on sagarin predictor ratings (essentially the basis for point spreads) Haha. Both claims are subjective pal. Put Toronto in the West, I SUBJECTIVELY say they are #9.
KingRevolver
Toronto is good, but it's still too early. Look at the Cleveland Clowns, they're 5-6, but probably the best team in the East... they just haven't gotten their shit together yet. milwaukee mike
i wish milwaukee was in the west, this team will probably sneak into the playoffs in the east for no good reason... would rather have a tougher schedule and another high lottery pick
WeinkeToWarrick
I'd take the Kings over the Suns, and I'd take the Bulls and Wizards at full strength vs any Western team, but yeah. East sucks, West is awesome.
Sol Diabler
Of their 12 games, Toronto has only played 3 on the road. NINE of their games have been at home. And of their 12 games, only 3 have been against the Western Conference. And only ONE was against a current top 9 team (Memphis). At HOME. milwaukee mike
even with all the "better" teams in the west, there still are no dominant teams this year. if the nba finals ends up being cleveland against (insert random team here) i would take cleveland

One year later and they are just any other team? Yes. A year older. But it seems they have been written off for the last 4 years because of the age factor. Yet they keep going.... Yet they keep going.... i didn't say they are just any other team, i said nobody in the west looks dominant, would you take the spurs to win the championship right now at 5-1? i sure as heck wouldn't.. and yes they have been written off the last few years and won exactly ONE title in the last 7 years for as relatively bad as the east has been, they still have 5 of the last 11 championships
