tripp
O brien now saying he is still being evaluated, but if indeed he is out for the season it is a big blow for both him and Houston. For him obviously because he has waited a long time for his shot to start and now 2 games in he suffers a serious injury For Houston it sucks because they still don't know what they have in him. This season is over for them regardless, they arent making the playoffs either way. But with another 5 games you could at least get a decent body of work to find out if Mallet is your guy moving forward or do they need to draft a QB (or find out in FA). Right now its still a big question mark since he did look pretty good game one vs Cleveland and then struggled vs Cinci (although that could be because he was playing through this pectoral injury for much of the game). po69
Houston really couldn't do anything with Mallet anyway
tripp
Houston really couldn't do anything with Mallet anyway But the key is they needed these next five games to find out if they have something in Mallet or not. Now they have to make a decision this offseason with very little information to base it off of (other than what they are seeing in practice)
