ANd i get he doesnt have a lot of creators beside him. Thats fair. Still doesnt change the context of his stats. Love didnt have anything good beside him in Minnesota either, but still important to remember the context of those fantastic numbers hed put up

And lets also remember Russ had one of the greatest offensive players to ever play the game in KD but couldnt win and ran him out of town with his style of play

Pal, a creator? All you did was talk about the amount of wins Cleveland lost without Lebron.

OKC is on pace to win 50 games. Without Russell they're a 14 win team.

KD is the leading rebounder on GS, a team with no bigs, and doesn't even average 10 rebounds a game when they need rebounding. LOL, you are delusional.

Who led OKC in rebounding when they played together? Is your point really that kd CANT grab rebounds as well as Russ? Really?

Russ just tries harder to accumulate stats. Part of it yes is i do believe he wants badly to win. But i think its insane to think Russ doesnt think/care about getting his triple doubles, no matter how much he says otherwise to reporters

But that was proven, you are speculating. Lebron actually left and we saw the fall from 66 wins to 16 or whatever it was. Thats absurd. Then he left Miami and they go from 4 straight finals to missing playoffs the next year and takes a joke Clev team that missed 4 straight playoffs in a weak east without him to b2b finals with him

So we got to see how those would play out and proved Lebrons value over and over. OKC is going to be a 6 seed probably, id guess 45-46 wins is where they end up. WIthout Russ? Theyd be bad for sure, not a playoff team. But not 14 wins bad imo, probably still 25-28 wins. West isnt that good this year and Adams/Dipo are solid players.

Once again, you're argument is that Durant doesn't try as hard to get rebounds. That's laughable.

Bad? Who would create and score for OKC. Who would run the offense? They're +/- with Russ of the floor I believe is one of the 3 worst in the NBA.

Hater #2

Russ does what is best to help his team win games.

They are a playoff team solely because of him. If didn't put forth the effort, they are worse. Fact.

Yeah , i would agree with that.

But even when he had KD on his team he needed too many shots to score

KD is setting a career high in FG% this year. Since he's  a team player

So why didnt Russ average tons more rebounds than KD in OKC? Why did KD always average more?

KD doesnt hang around going for every board since its not necessary. Russ literally will take rebounds from guys, watch he'll do it twice a game. He stays behind on FTs for rebounding, he will cheat off his guy to be in better position to grab rebounds. Watch and youll see

Hes great, but hes not what you make him out to be, thats all im saying. Its just like when you had KD as the best player and then Steph after him. All great players, you got a little carried away with all of them though

Because they had a center who rebounded well and forwards who did as well?

Why is OKC better at rebounding this year than they were any year with Durant, despite not adding any elite rebounders to their team?

Your theory holds no weight. Russ didn't have to crash the glass as much when they were big in the post, and athletic.

And you're arguing nonsense; Russell averaged 7.8 RPG and Durant 8.2. It's not as if they were way different and Russell is 7 inches shorter. Jaysus man. And two years ago Russell outrebounded Durant per game. So once again, wrong.

Take their last two years in OKC, and their rebounding totals were identical.
