Navy comes in at 9-3 and a loss to Temple last week. Not only did they lose the game last week they lost their QB Wil Worth and wideout Toneo Gulley.

While this game is an annual season ending classic it has been lopsided with navy having won the last 15.

Prior to last weeks injuries IMO this line would have been -17.5 with a total of 59. But as always there is a reaction to injuries.

The spread opened at -8 and quickly moved to -6.5 as ESPN continued to discuss the QB situation.

Navy is running its Triple Option as it always has. In this offense the QB isn't asked to win games with their arm, they are asked to win with their mind (decision making) and their legs.

Zack abbey a sophomore now has had 2 full seasons in this system. In HS he was more of a runner than a passing QB. When recruited Navy coach said "Zack is a Half Back playing the QB position". Looking at Zacks HS stats I can see why he said that.

His SR year he carried the ball 238 times for 1663 yards and 19 TD's. He also passed for 10. At 6 foot 2 and 210 lbs he is built mind body and soul to be a Navy QB.

The total in this game opened at 48 and has gone to 47.

Last week Navy only put up 10 pts. The starting QB went down early and in came Zack who hadn't taken any snaps with the first team all week in practice. Facing a stiff Temple Defense Navy was dead in the water.

Prior to the temple game last week Navy had scored 40+ pts in 7 of 11 games. and 4 of their last 4.

IMO that continues this Sat with Zack Abey at the helm

Take the OVER 47

Take Navy -6.5

Classic case of the linesmen over estimating the effects of injury.

Not in the least.

Navy was steam rolling

Well navy hasn't been a 17.5 point favorite or higher all season and army hasn't been a 17.5 point dog or higher all season and when you combine this fact with the magnitude of this rivalry and the fact that the game is being played on a neutral field I reiterate African American YOU CRAZY!
