Hospitals don't mess around much anymore. ....seems like it has to be pretty serious for them to keep you overnight. I seriously ruptured a disc lifting a suitcase...big chunk of disc pressing on my spinal cord and ended up causing some nerve damage....they did surgery and I was out the same day and up and walking the next day. It seems like mine was more than that in 2008, and I was out same day. I wonder if that includes the anesthesiologists and all of the extra charges.
