if you are NOT ACTIVE, and the prizes are severely different, then please after you win one and try the place out, either move on or get active!

for example, betmania, the $100 freeplay is worth about $60, the $25 freeplay with restrictions for non-actives might be worth $10 at best. so every time a non-active wins $10 they cost an active person $60.

I would think that the people putting up the prize money are laughing pretty hard at "contest ettiquette". So lets see,the guys who win most of the money, want to make it easier to win more, by banding together and proclaiming the basic broke dick may be breaching some ettiquette by trying to win something for himself. All I know is when I have been a broke dick I didn't give a lumpy turd what the compieition thinks about me playing. The guys putting up the money want new fish, plain and simple.

the guys putting up the money don't want people that don't play there to KEEP WINNING free money and never deposit. that's why they sometimes place huge restrictions on it.

if you don't give a lumpy turd that you win $10 MULTIPLE TIMES with no intention of being a customer, while costing the people that it's intended for $60 multiple times, then you're selfish. doesn't matter if you're broke or not, it's like taking free samples of the same thing in a grocery store/ice cream shop/etc multiple times with no intention of buying anything. not illegal but shady

For every 10 or 100 or so, so called selfish contertant's, there may be an untapped golden goose customer out there that the book is trying to find. Golden gooses do not advertise themselves, I think you have to get lucky and stumble upon them sometimes. I think that is why they do not limit who can get in. I personally do not think anyone is selfish that takes the time to enter and tries to win. Yeah I am sure there are some cheapskates that will never deposit but hell it could be tightened up by rule changes if the sponsor wanted.

that i agree with

i was talking about the guys that never post and enter contests with no intention of ever depositing anywhere, i do see your point though. to me even the cheapskates could throw $100 into a book once in a while, they're only hurting themselves by not taking bonuses/bigger contest winnings

I admit I play in a lot of contests when inactive, but i'm usually acive in at least one or two at the same time too...

I would probably be active in almost all of them, all the time, if it weren't for the fact that it's tighter and harder to move money these days than ever before.

I don't really want to wire 100-200 , twice a week, and start to risk being banned, when there are so few options available now days
