In Nevada there are rules on both sides and if they want us out there is a procedure.

They don't go that route very often because they realize how lame it is to tell Gaming or the police

that they don't want someone gambling there because they don't suck as much as the average

player. Both entities get annoyed at those type of trespassing cases. In the case of sports books,

many of them are just renting the space so the ban can not even be an 86 from the premises.

They just tell the player they don't want your action but there's not a lot those places like William Hill

can do to enforce that. Tickets go as written and must be paid off so if you can get the bet in you will

get paid.

I take it Boat thinks that if asked nicely to go away that you should just go away. If someone is in a position

to steal your money, like the post-up shops are, then that's what you do. Those shops get to have their cake

and eat it too. In Nevada it's a little different. They can't pick and choose to that degree who they deal to

and part of the privilege of conducting business in a regulated state is that you have to play by the rules.

If they wanted to use the system to exclude players they could but they hate looking so weak. Unless it's

a legally binding banning I don't acknowledge it. They can cut players off apps but I'll still go to the window

until the consequences are such that it's just not worth it.

You don't think that sportsbooks, stores, or restaurants that lease space at a casino have full access to casino security?

Boat there are so many advanced analytic sights out there that verifying the injury is harder than quantifying the damn thing

https://swishanalytics.com/injury/nba-injury?r=index

In football at least, the opposite is true. Even as prominent a player as Tom Brady last year, when out, generated a wide range of impact estimates, side and total.

But even NBA injuries, which allow for much more accurate individual statistics, is going to generate significantly different numbers from different sharps.

Injury info used to be difficult to find and a source of edge for sharps, but then the internet happened; now it's impact estimation that generates more market debate.

Try this experiment: pick ten sharps from here. Have them list the games' expected injuries 20 minutes pregame. There will be very little difference in the lists.

Then have them rate the impacts on sides and totals, and go "wow" at the range.

Sure they do. But having some clerk at a William Hill call security to bounce a completely civil

bettor because some guy on the phone told him to is a huge stretch. They'll just refuse to

take his bets is all and you go down the street or to a kiosk somewhere else.

The point is they can't stop you if you want to bet and their renters status does not give

them the same latitude to deal with customers on that level as a place like Wynn or Westgate.

People fail to realize how silly the book sounds in a situation like that.

Kenny Sanchez, coach of three-time Super 25 football champion Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas), is facing a domestic battery charge and was arrested Tuesday on a warrant, according to court documents.

The news was first reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

He was arraigned Thursday, according to court records, with a bench trial set for May 30.

Sanchez declined comment when reached by USA TODAY High School Sports. He referred questions to his lawyer, who responded with the following statement: “Mr. Sanchez is an outstanding coach and leader in the Las Vegas community and an incredible father. There is absolutely no truth to any these allegations.”

According to the report, the incident happened on Christmas Day when Sanchez, 36, went to his former girlfriend’s home to pick up their son. According to the report, Sanchez was “very upset.”

“I went to say goodbye to my son in the driveway,” Brooke Jade Stewart wrote in a statement, according to the Review-Journal. “Kenny came behind me and pulled my hair out of my head, punched me in the eye. As I was going down, he punched me on the side of my face and put his hands around my neck. He held me on the ground and ran to his car and drove away.”

Sanchez was named the Gorman coach in January 2015, replacing his brother Tony, now the head coach at UNLV. Kenny Sanchez had been the defensive coordinator.

Sanchez led Bishop Gorman to back-to-back unbeaten seasons and Super 25 titles with a combined record of 30-0. The Gaels won their first Super 25 title under Tony Sanchez in 2015.

The program enters the 2017 season on a 54-game winning streak, second-longest active streak in the nation.

What happens when an iconic Vegas neon sign becomes a Hillary Clinton-bashing, far-right Twitter persona?

Vegas Vic hewed close to the strong, silent cowboy types with little regard for a mess of extra words.

He’d wave, all friendly-like, to city folk wandering down Fremont Street, and the wink of his right eye suggested he held a secret or two. For about 15 years after settling in his spot in 1951, all he ever said via a loudspeaker was, “Howdy, pardner!”

Outstanding breakfast spot Ronald.  A little out of the way for me so don't get there very often, but do take out of towners there.

Best croissants in town in my opinion.  Just about everything on the menu, is good, fresh, and proportioned well.

The French couple who runs it is there every time and they are probably some of the nicest, most welcoming people in the city.

Place is a bit hard to find if you don't know where you are looking.  It is kind of hidden in the back of an office complex off the 215.

Value is outstanding as well.  Pretty sure everything on the menu is well under $10 bucks.

A true gem in the desert.

(If you like French bakeries I also recommend Rosalie's, Manon, and another personal favorite of mine Delices Gourmands on Sahara).  John Curtas claims Delices has the best bread in the city.  They make a mean Croque Madame as well.
