Betonline bitcoin "fee"

I've taken two withdrawals from Betonline in the last month or so, both times I received 0.5-1.5% less than requested. Pretty weird when they were recently lauded for eliminating their 2% fee.

How do you know if it is BOL skimming or either my or BOL's BTC wallet using an exchange rate that either overvalues or undervalues bitcoin? The BTC wallet claims to have taken a transaction fee both times of a bitcoin amount that is not even a dollar so it is either Betonline not sending me enough or a wallet using a bad rate.

It shouldn't be due to variation in the value of BTC unless they lock in the price when the withdrawal is requested but process it at a later time.

What are others experiencing on this front?

Its completely usual for different prices of bitcoin to be quoted from different providers/exchanges.

For example, 5Dimes may use Bitstamp to determine the price of bitcoin at the time they process withdrawals and BetOnline may use Kraken.

The prices are almost always off, like waay off, ie Bitstamp lists their sell price (or last sell price) at $1088 and Kraken shows $1065 at the exact same time.

I wouldn't put it past BOL or any other book to shop around and quote the price from an exchange that favours them the most and use that price when processing your payout.

I wouldn't either. But with the two deposits I made, they gave me better both times and it was by close to 1%. So that is basically what happened with RM. I have to give them the benefit of the doubt based on my experience. With BOL, anything is possible. They like to lie in the weeds.

They are borderline scammers for sure. It's the openers Sleepy. You gotta have em.

Wasn't that the 2% fee just before they dropped it? They got you on that one just like the got me on the 6.5% the first time I deposited there.

They are definitely skimming on bitcoin transactions through an unfavorable exchange rate. I made a deposit and a withdrawal at basically the same time. I got a worse price both sending and receiving. If they just used a different price then it should've worked in my favor one way but not the other.

Garbage book that no one should play with. They used to charge 6% on cc deposits as well back in the day when I used to play there. No reasonable explanation for charging a fee for charging fees on bitcoin. They will also make you jump though hoops when requesting payouts. Stay away

No.

My accounts have some lowered limits, they are generally not too aggressive with this though.

Been standard speed for me there on e-wallets for years.  Bitcoin been coming fast too.  Just put in for one, will see if they rape me on the exchange,

I got better twice for sure. I've done a couple more and done worse but did not send the right amount of bitcoin and was using Gemini not very successfully so not sure it was the right price or not and was not interested enough to find out. It was close enough. They give you credit pretty much right away which is way better than anywhere but maybe a bitcoin book.

fuk them

took 9k out and only bet a few openers now

went from giving them 5k of action a week to basically nothing all because they stole $50 me

a 5yr old could make a better business model

It was your own fault though. Sometimes you have to give them credit. But if what they offer is not worth, you should definitely bet elsewhere. I bet openers there strictly myself.
