and they lost. Unreal. Only 40 shots too - guess I shouldn't say "only". 26 ft attempts. Incredible.

51 in the 2nd half

Suns only have 8 healthy players.  And they kept fouling last few minutes down double digits to get Booker as many shots as possible.  But 70 is still 70

Plus minus a pretty terrible stat imo. Suns are terrible regardless of him and I think he has a lot to work on still but he has a lot of scoring talent clearly. Long way to go to be an elite game changer but young enough to maybe one day learn. Still a lot of weaknesses in his game.

Not regular plus-minus.  Real plus-minus is adjusted for who you play with and opponenets.   Public versions are obviously always lacking, but stuff like this drives nba betting markets these days.

It's a more meaningful stat than PPG.

I still doubt RPM's abilities to evaluate impact - especially defensively. I remember when RPM had Taj - who I like - as one of the best players in the NBA. I think it's solid and volume scoring on bad teams certainly doesn't mean as much as it does on winning teams but I think it should be taken on a case by case basis. Imo. With the tracking software implemented in the past few years basketballs metrics will improve but I still don't trust all the big metrics as much as I do in a one on one sport like baseball. Basketball has a ways to go.

NBA has so much isolation, it might as well be one on one.

I know the difference between the two I'm just not ready to judge a kid like bookers talent based on his RPM right now. The Sun's are terrible and he's a high volume scorer now on a bad team - hardly some impactful player. I just think his ceiling of tools was on display tonight
