MonkeyF0cker
Why would they want to pay a shitload more in taxes in San Diego? If their attendance is good in Las Vegas, there's no good reason they wouldn't stay.

If their attendance is good in Las Vegas, there's no good reason they wouldn't stay.If the location is near the Strip like what has been discussed, the Raiders will be successful in Vegas if Vegas does this the right way. Vegas is a very transient community, much like Phoenix. The visiting team will draw fans. Tourists will attend games. And of course, they will have at least some sort of season ticket base as well. And if this comes to fruition, expect UNLV to be joining the PAC-16 within five years.

MonkeyF0cker
The NHL team has a far greater chance of not working out over the Raiders.

There were plenty of real estate markets affected as bad as Las Vegas. Did the Miami Dolphins move because of it?

MonkeyF0cker
Good luck finding a mortgage in LV without good credit these days. You're telling me you expect a bigger real estate collapse than 2008 within 10 years? C'mon.
