KingRevolver
https://gma.yahoo.com/tips-jesus-tipper-leaves-11-000-2-tips-200436921--abc-news-personal-finance.html That's cool and everything, but if I had large amounts of money that I could frivolously give away, I wouldn't give it to these folks. I'd give it to charities that really need it. And I'm not saying some of these waiters/waitresses can't use the dough, but I think there's people ahead of them. What's the biggest tip you've ever given?

milwaukee mike
agree about the charities instead... especially since that's a tax writeoff, someone could give 18k to a charity and it would only cost a net of 11k
Kid at Riviera
I treated the family to SW Steahouse at the Wynn. Great food and great service. The bill came to be a little over $1,200 and I paid two grand. I'm sure that's my biggest tip.

I'm sure that's my biggest tip.[/quote'] wow that's a crazy big tip... was it a special occasion? i can understand a big tip like that (especially if you're running good) but i still think i would top out at 30% or so when it's that big of a number... even the best wait staff in the world isn't worth more than $100/hour the servers at wynn restaurants share tips with managers, so everyone had a great night.
