sugardaddy
NFL teams will have a shorter window to break any stalemates next season.Owners voted Tuesday at the league's spring meeting in Chicago to approve the reduction of overtime from 15 to 10 minutes. The proposal was initially made at the annual league meeting in March. The NFL featured two tie games last season — one between the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals and another a week later between the Washington Redskins and Cincinnati Bengals

JAKEPEAVY21
why do they keep changing the damn rules?
FairWarning
why do they keep changing the damn rules? They can talk all they want about player safety, but I'm sure the NFL doesn't want the early games running over into the late games. The TD celebration rule allow celebrations now. This rule will not affect the Browns or Bears.

Mike75
Actually from what i've read they want to make things as entertaining and uncertain as possible. Thats why they made the FG and extra points harder as well as shorten overtime which means teams will try anything to avoid a tie. I predict we just might could see two or three ties next season.
