Owners kid goes to the manager and tells him that "Dad says for me to pitch." So the manager follows orders and starts the kids but leaves him in the whole game and he gave up 24 runs. True story. Always Call Heads Posted May 24, 2017 Report Share Posted May 24, 2017 ok where did you hear this?I used to be a big Texas Rangers fan as a kid and they had a segment called A Page From Baseball's Past on the radio. Every day the Rangers announcer Eric Nadel would tell a story from baseball history and they were all pretty wild. That one stuck out.
