Jimmy Butler To Timberwolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves have an agreement in principle to acquire Jimmy Butler from the Chicago Bulls, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

 

Butler has been told of the deal, ESPN reports.

 

The Wolves are also getting the No. 16 pick.

 

The Bulls are getting the No. 7 pick, G Kris Dunn and G Zach LaVine

he liked thibs a lot. he's also played pretty much the same amount of minutes since he left - 1 fewer a night i think.

 

he also has 3 more years on his deal so it's not like he can go anywhere soon anyway.

only two more years on his deal

 

3rd year is a player option and obv no way hes picking that up for only 19.8 M

Would have agreed if they'd had a better choice with that #7 pick. Think that kid is soft as charmin.

a lot of people have given up on dunn so the deal has taken some heat. Thibs never plays rookies and I still really like dunns game. Guy works his ass off too. Not sure how I feel about lavine coming off the ACL tear given how important explosiveness is to him.

 

Absolutely hated the draft pick. Killed the entire deal for me.

Butler is a top 10 player in the NBA and a two way player who understands the defense that Thibs is trying to install. I think the T Wolves win 50+ games next year.

 

their benched sucked last year and only got worse

 

cat, wiggins, the spanish kid and this butler clown going to play 48 minutes a game
