PREDICTIONS FOR INDIANAPOLIS IN 2017:

One of Indy's biggest downfalls in the last five years which is basically QB Andrew Luck's entire career so far was the fact they had employed one of the worst GM's in the NFL.  In fact out of 32 teams in retaining draft picks Indy's former GM Ryan Grigson was 31st. It could be said the only thing saving him the past half decade was the Luck pick itself which wasn't exactly luck because the pick was already predetermined. Anyway this has led to insufficient talent on defense as well as the offensive line not being put together strongly enough to keep QB Luck from suffering various injuries the past few years including shoulder surgery. The past two years this team has been stuck at 8-8 so the question now is do they sink or swim.......

With a QB like Andrew luck under center they should be higher. All they need to do is keep him healthy to win that division, shouldn't be that difficult to protect him with how mobile he is. They win that division this year

If Tennessee plays well i think they will win the division although Indy should be good coming off two 8-8 seasons. With a QB like Luck you are right they should be higher but as long as they win 8 games a year they will be right around the late teens. I was generous with my ranking of the Colts to put it in perspective lets see how other publications ranked them...........

The inability to put together even a decent O-line group in Indy has been ridiculous.  Don't think they have actually solved a legit problem on that team in the last couple of years. You watch them last year and you just see them struggling at all the same positions they were before.

:doh

Exactly. You hit the nail on the head. Their former GM was so bad that from 2011-2016 he was ranked 31st out of 32 GM's and these rankings are fact based results on how well they did in the draft and how the players played.
