What's on the agenda?

Paul Simon concert at Red Rocks

Seeing some friends.

It's been a hellacious trip though:

Bad coach seat on turbulent plane

One hour wait in line for rental car after being packed into a sardine shuttle bus to to get offsite car lot

My car is old so couldn't figure out the new keyless technology. Had to have woman help me start the car.

In an attempt to not overpack like usual, I forgot several things including a pair of jeans which was the one thing I wanted to make sure to bring. I have a swimming suit and three pairs of pajamas but no jeans.

Little tube of lotion exploded in my checked bag and got all over my tops and capris. Everything badly wrinkled.

Neighbor called me and the thunderstorms flooded my basement mildly in the 605. Luckily she cleaned up the mess with her shop vac.

I'm thinking about staying an extra day. It will cost me more money, but I want a day to just relax by the pool. I feel very rushed.

Nice, enjoy. Best concerts I've ever been to were at red rocks. Make sure to park in the proper lot for where your tickets are. I can't imagine walking from the top of those stairs all way to the bottom parking lot at the end of a 6 hour binge.

Thank you...I've done it before but I was much younger. We are trying to figure out how to get out and back. I don't want to drive as will be having a few cocktails. Not worried about getting out there, but trying to get cab or Uber afterward might be tricky. Might have to spring for a limo type thing. I am up for path of least resistance. Plus my Sapphire credit should cover. Maybe.

i took an uber to red rocks once and they wouldn't let him drive up the hill because he had no ticket and no commercial dl.  had to hike the whole fucking way

Oh wow. Any ideas on best way to go Rito? I'm not really wanting to make the hike if I don't have to. Can cabs go up?

Yes cabs can, and they make let uber go up now too I don't know this was a few years ago.  I like Uber black, more expensive but nice car, pro driver, they can definitely go up and rop you off/pick up.

You don't think there will be an issue with a bunch of people after concert? I have never used uber before. I'm fine with it as long as I'm not waiting forever. I have zero waiting patience. I will download app and check it out.

Just changed flight and hotel reservation. I need another day. Feel better now. Trip is getting pretty speedy now though...mostly the concert tickets. $953! (2)

I'm really not sure, so don't trust me on getting out of there on time.  MIght want to look into those limo services, they can wait for you there.

The keyless rental car caused me problems the first time too, felt like an idiot. Also took awhile to get used to the way it felt like it was stalling after sitting at a red light.

Me too!! I was completely dumbfounded. I was sitting there with windshield wipers going in all sorts of things but can't get the darn car started. I'm still nervous about driving it. I'm taking it back early and using cabs for extra day.
