WMtribe17
Rangers +155 - Elias has been struggling with his control his past few starts and he is getting closer to the 150 IP mark, which he has never hit in a single season. Seattle's bullpen got a pretty good workout in Boston and another 4-5 inning start from Elias won't help (which is very possible as it seems he is around a pitch count of 90 based on his last few starts). On the other side, it is hard to ignore the significant differences in ERA, WHIP, BAA, and Ks when Mikolas pitches on the road compared to home. Cardinals +131 - Another huge discrepancy in road vs. home stats as Liriano has struggled mightily at PNC Park. Lackey has looked solid for the Cards (outside of the Baltimore stinker) and has put up goot stats against NL opposition in his limited starts against the NL. WMtribe17
Rangers should consider only starting Mikolas on the road. The discrepancy in home v. road stats is mind-boggling (home ERA of almost 14 vs. road ERA of about 2.50 + BAA of almost 200 points lower on the road)
