Al queda, isis and the nazis did that.taking down a statue is not "erasing" history. when was the last time you walked past a confederate statue and read about it... and said to yourself, wow... i forgot about the Civil War until seeing that. don't be dumb. losers and traitors never deserved trophies or statues. regardless, it's in your best interest that people forget about it... then maybe history repeats itself and you can get a few slaves. :hurray regardless, the civil war will always be taught in school. we're not erasing history books. the germans don't have schools, parks and statues representing old nazi generals. we frankly shouldn't either. they were traitors. i don't get outraged, but makes sense to not symbolize and memorialize them as leaders of a revolution against the flag you hate Kaep for offending.
