Pools:

Non-Gambler: $10

Gambler: $100

Entrants are welcome to participate in one or both pools. The pools will be considered concurrent with a single submission of selections.

Any and all donations by generous forum members, a sponsor sportsbook, The Gambling Forum Dot Com (TGF) or its representatives, Don Best, Gabewins.com, MeatandPotatoes, Inc., or wealthy philanthropists will be applied to the $10 pool unless otherwise stipulated by the donor.

Should $1,000 in contributions/donations be collected, the $10 pool will be converted to a free contest for active TGF posters and all contributions refunded. .

Posters with less than 250 posts or inactive posters are eligible for either pool but will not be eligible to win any sponsor-added contributions or donated funds should any be provided unless they are entered into the contest prior to its reaching free status.

Pool Prospectus:

250 selections minimum (no maximum) beginning with your approved entry and running through the NCAA tournament championship game. Entry in the contest is open throughout the basketball season. One unit bets only. NCAA and NBA sides and totals only.

Correlated plays will be allowed but use as a strategy at any portion of the contest will result in disqualification. Betting both sides of a game is prohibited. Pushes will not count as a play.

Entry fee can be paid to Always Call Heads (ACH) or an agreeable and trusted TGF poster to be designated. If funds are not forwarded for prize payment when due as a result of incorrigibility, death, adventure seeking, natural disaster or any reason which falls under the category of Other, your entry is considered invalid.

The entry can also be paid via bitcoin with any reduction in value due to price swings or fees taken or added to the contest payment. If the fee is less than the requirement, the winnings will be awarded on a proportional basis with the difference going to the prize payment for next season or being retained as an administrative fee.

If a PPH is not acquired for this contest, it will take place in the free picks subforum (assuming TGF approval) and the selections and posted performance will be reviewed by fellow contest participants for errors/legitimacy. A ruling will be made on any contested selections.

If there are no entrants into either pool, the contest will be considered a forfeit by all members of TGF and ACH will be declared the winner of both pools and due all inherent bragging rights.

There will be only one winner for each of the pools, however, a "snowflake" provision does exist for the contest. If a quorum is called and 46% of participants vote in favor of a second-place winner, the winner of the contest will be considered to have been "Trumped" by fellow contestants.

In such a case, if more than $2,000 is collected, the pool will have multiple winners. For $2001-$3000, the allocation will be 67% for first place, 33% for second. The allocation for $3000+ will be 60% for 1st; 2nd 25%, 3rd 15%.

The contest will be considered open source, however, all determinations will be made by the contest coordinator and are not subject to review, arbitration or any means of recourse. Participation is voluntary.

Enter below by posting $10 or $100 or $10/$100 as appropriate for the pool(s) you wish to enter. Pool buy-ins will only be available to entrants with a negative position after the contest begins.

ACH why did you write something longer than your college thesis?   Showing off?

Hopefully, Gabewins.com will contribute $100 after all the donations we have made there and his contet winnings. Gabewins.com is "our" site and this is "our" contest. Seems like a good advertising opportunity to me and all the contributions to "our" site go to advertising so hopefully he will contribute to "our" contest after all we have done with free advertising here and he can even add to his winnings.

Gabe, you cheap bastard, support "our" contest!!1 Anybody that bets Winthrop in the first round of the NCAA tournament should be in this contest and support it.

I covered every aspect so anyone would know how it would work. I forgot that anyone would toss money into any contest with $100.

Contest went with the NBA contest with 8 people in it. We will all watch one of them win the dough.

Maybe Teddy will start a contest where the first team to randomly fall on a certain number of points wins. We will all toss in $100.

not one person here supported gabewins.com

sad

Well, you did have a losing record even with stale lines and kept all the good stuff for yourself in contests.

Gabe how much will you give me to take this thing to Gabewins? Give me $1,000 and you can buy TGF and advertise for free. Not that that would be any change. But we could at least get the Gabewins forum on the map.
