I used to sell it.  High end and looks and feels great.  Great for cold climates

Fun business

very lucrative.  The only other businesses with higher markups are furniture and drugs.

Yes. It’s quite soft. Not very durable but looks good.

If you drop something on it it will dent quite easily.

why would you get out of such a lucrative business?

my dad got out of the furniture business because his partner was stealing... also it's not all it's cracked up to be, even with 100% markups it takes a lot of space and labor... way more furniture stores have gone bankrupt than still exist

we sold the stores and that is when I moved back to South Florida.  My brother was dealing with legal issues at the time which is why we sold. This was also when my bonus whoring was starting to take off.  I was making 10 x whoring after hours than I was with my store profits.

I have it in the kitchen and informal dining area.

It's held up well considering the location being "high traffic".

It has never really bothered me too much except for the sodas. Throwing away half-empty soda cans pisses me off because I'm cheap.

The younger one moved out but still comes by occasionally to "shop" in my pantry.
