rdalert447
Mike, start a whiskey thread! I like Whiskey but rather new to it. I’d love to hear some opinions.
rdalert447
Opened the bottle pictured above. The name is LaVieille Ferme and it’s a 2015 Recolte, 13% AC. Really smooth, like most French wines I’ve tasted. Not overly sweet, no strong alcohol after taste. I like it better than the last one I posted. Think I paid $9 for it. rdalert447
Jasson, do you find there’s a huge difference between the cheap wines and more expensive? Pretty sure you’re gonna answer yes, so what stands out the most?

Pretty sure you’re gonna answer yes, so what stands out the most?I don't go over the top, most of my go wines are 40-60 range. I will have Opus One 2012 a few times a year, as for a huge difference not really if I like it I drink it. I am looking forward to the $20 search might find some gems. jd_
I only had wine a couple of times. I'd like to have it more if guests are over or with dinner once in a while. I just picked this up a couple weeks ago. Do you guys use one of these or something like it? It seems to get pretty positive reviews and it was pretty interesting to read about the whole thing. There are some more expensive gadgets that do the same, but I thought for $16, this would work for my needs.

fwd
K&L Jasson. I think theres one nearby you. I try to drink mostly smaller production stuff and least when I splurge. Justin, a cheaper alternative with similar profiles to Caymus
