Sharp Square
It seems Giancarlo Stanton has been traded to the NY Yankees in exchange for Starling Castro and prospects Jorge Guzman (SP) and Jose Devers (SS). Stanton and Judge along with Gary Sanchez and what looks to be a ready to break out Greg Bird. What a lineup!

BarryRunSome
LmFAO at anyone thinking Jeter did this to help the Yankees. Idiots. Jeter hates Cashman. Cashman basically told Jeter on his last contract if you don’t like 45 for 3 go find s9mething better. Guy is the most unemotional athlete in history. Cut from the same mold as MJ. It was a job. He didn’t care about being a Yankee. His retirement ceremony could not have beeen more underwhelming. Probably didn’t even want to be their. The day he retired all ties to the Yankees were severed. BarryRunSome
If the Red Sox were on Stanton’s list and they offered something better, he would have shipped him their in a second. He would not give one fuck.

GreenDoberman
As a Marlin fan this was expected. Guzman looks like he could be special and Devers is still way early to call.I am assuming they will flip Castro next week at the Winter Meetings. The bigger problem with them is they signed these old pitchers to stupid contracts: Tazawa, Zeigler, Chen (that one is fucking gross), Volquez.Without that issue they would not have had to dump Stanton, Gordon, Ozuna, and possibly Yelich. You should never offer higher end contracts (over 10 million a year) to anyone who is in their 30s. Sign up the young kids on longer-term deals, even if they don't pan out someone will probably take a chance on them while they are still young. The Royals figured it out there for a few years, had a good core, supplemental pieces, and took a gamble on a few others. The Fish need to blow it up and start over and they are still saddled with 4 bad contracts (see above) plus Prado.
Brock Landers
Yankees get another starting pitcher they should win 115 games
HRWager
Friedman strikes again. Stanton was begging to be a Dodger and now he is showing financial restraint. Shame on him.
Deemer
I think the Yankees got worse.
Hangover
Agree with Deem here......a lineup of Stanton, Sanchez, Judge really only good for attendance/tv ratings and if playing MLB The Show
