It's a deterrent. It irritates them from a distance. It has a oleoresin capsicum concentration of usually around 1%. Generic human pepper spray has a concentration of 10% or higher. The problem with pepper spray like I think Boat mentions is the blowback. It's almost always going to fuck you up to. You don't have to worry about blowback with Sabre Red Gel. It shoots much further than the pepper spray. It also really, really fucks people up. The difference is extraordinary. It makes people worthless for like hours. It's face napalm. Ok, buying a few ounces of PEPPER GEL............thanks for the insight. If given the chance though, still prefer GUNS, but understand they are not always applicable in many situations.
