RDTrains
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — John Elway is looking to free agency for his fix at quarterback following a season in which all three of his drafted QBs fell flat in Denver. After sitting out the playoffs in each of the last two years following their Super Bowl 50 triumph, the Broncos have apparently found their next signal-caller. Case Keenum plans to sign with Denver when free agency opens Wednesday, ESPN reported early Tuesday. That would leave the Vikings, Cardinals and Jets vying to land ex-Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins, who is expected to sign a record-breaking contract this week. https://www.reviewjournal.com/sports/football/quarterback-case-keenum-to-sign-with-denver-broncos/
Hangover
Good deal...Elway quick to realize organization whiffing on development of Seimien and Lynch. Sign the proven pro..,
KingRevolver
Smart move by Elway. Keenum costs less than Cousins, and that allows them to have enough to add another piece.

Sharp Square
Think everyone knew they def had to go a different route at QB and this seems like a pretty good move considering the price tag that could be attacked to Cousins.
ajt
Cousins getting 3 years $84 mill. That’s ridiculous. Former Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins plans to sign a three-year, fully guaranteed $84 million contract with the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday, sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter. Fully Guaranteed is def over the top. I mean he has some talent but really what has he actually proven so far. Just seems like way too big of an investment esp 100% guaranteed. theguesser
Horrible move to rely on Keenum as your starter and pay him around 20 million for multiple years. Keeps them in QB mediocrity purgatory for the next few years.
Machiavelli
Boring, but effective. Agree with above about going with him so they can add more along with him.
