Ranking All The NFL GM's

32. Chris Ballard, Colts

Has made an incredible amount of personnel changes over the last 15 months and put a new coaching staff in place this year, If Andrew Luck is on the field things should improve possibly quickly and if Luck isn't they still have Jacoby Brissett but thats not as good.

31. Brian Gaine, Texans

Former GM Rick Smith left the GM position in January so the Texans hired Gaine while letting it be known that communication with Head Coach O'Brien was important due to some issues that were there with Smith. Gaine and O'Brien's first offseason together produced secondary help, with the signings of cornerback Aaron Colvin and safety Tyrann Mathieu.

30. Ryan Pace, Bears

The team's 14-34 record since Pace arrived is not good. Watching him waste draft picks to move up one spot and draft QB Mitch Trubisky all he had to do was be patient and he could've had him with their original pick.

29. Bruce Allen, Redskins

Allen hiring former GM Scot McCloughan in 2015, then firing him two years later on the eve of free agency along with the team's handling of Kirk Cousins' contract situation not a good look.

28. Brett Veach, Chiefs

Veach has worked for Andy Reid going back to their days together in Philadelphia. Orchestrated an excellent trade while sending Alex Smith to Washington. Still not a lot known yet about how he will do as he was just hired last year.

27. Mike Maccagnan, Jets

The roster hasn't shown much progress three years on and you also have reaching for Christian Hackenberg in 2016 and failing to prioritize finding a franchise quarterback.

26. Mike Tannenbaum, Dolphins

Tannenbaum has made a lot of mistakes in free agency except maybe Ndamukong Suh. The team has made the postseason once in the last nine seasons. Might be time to look for a QB of the future as well.

25. Jason Licht, Buccaneers

Going 22-42 since taking over isn't helping matters. Licht needs to start winning and soon. This team, has often looked decidedly better on paper than it has on the field.

24. Brandon Beane, Bills

Reshaped the roster with free agents this offseason like Star Lotulelei, Vontae Davis and AJ McCarron while trading Sammy Watkins and Marcell Dareus. Working with coach Sean McDermott Beane's first draft will set up the future, with two picks in each of the first three rounds and a big need at quarterback.

23. John Dorsey, Browns

Dorsey was fired in Kansas City after the team made the playoffs three times in four seasons which made no sense. With a lot of draft picks and cap space Dorsey has the power to get this team back to winning for the first time in ages and has already signed QB Tyrod Taylor and WR Jarvis Landry.

22. Marty Hurney, Panthers

There's no telling how long this Hurney tenure will last, as the entire organization waits for a new owner to emerge. His last one was pretty even with good as well as bad signings.

21. Bob Quinn, Lions

Quinn just took over in 2016 so he hasn't had time to get things in order yet. He hired Matt Patricia as head coach in February.

20. Duke Tobin, Bengals

The Bengals have done well in the draft the past few years which is good because they don't like to spend in free agency.

19. Reggie McKenzie, Raiders

McKenzie has been in charge since 2012 and in those six years has one winning year but he has done some good drafting bringing in Derek Carr,Khalil Mack and Gabe Jackson and slowly turning the franchise around.

18. Tom Telesco, Chargers

The Chargers' general manager since 2013 he has drafted well with draft picks Keenan Allen, Joey Bosa, Jason Verrett and Hunter Henry to free-agent pickups like Casey Hayward, but going 27-37 with one playoff appearance in four years isnt good enough.

17. Dave Gettleman, Giants

Was dismissed last season from Carolina although he did well there regularly making the postseason. Should have the Giants contending soon.

16. John Lynch, 49ers

Bringing in Kyle Shanahan to be head coach and signing QB Jimmy Garoppolo is looking like a great idea as they ended the season with five straight wins.

15. Dave Caldwell, Jaguars

Can the Jaguars prove their breakout 2017 campaign (which ended in an AFC title game appearance) wasn't a fluke? Five straight seasons drafting in the top five eventually resulted in landing Jalen Ramsey and Leonard Fournette, while Caldwell used free agency to build a dominating defense. Having Tom Coughlin will help as well.

14. Jon Robinson, Titans

Since joining Tennessee he has completely turned the team around with two winning seasons as well as a playoff berth and win last season.

13. Les Snead, Rams

When Snead arrived in 2012, Rams was coming off one of the worst stretches in NFL history, and he quickly upgraded the talent and last year after hiring a new head coach as well as recently drafting a QB things finally started gelling with the team making the postseason. After adding CB's Marcus Peters,Aqib Talib and DT Ndamukong Suh as well as WR Brandin Cooks in free agency and having a strong draft the Rams might be on top of the division for a while.

12. Steve Keim, Cardinals

The ability to reboot a roster with a new head coach separates good general managers from the greats. Keim and Bruce Arians experienced immediate success after taking over in Arizona in 2013, winning 34 games and making two playoff appearances in their first three seasons. Now that Arians is out and Steve Wilks is in, Keim gets his chance for a second act.

11. Brian Gutekunst, Packers

Packers fans were irrationally excited about the January job change of longtime general manager Ted Thompson, despite his overall draft-day acumen and obvious influence around the NFL. Gutekunst quickly showed he'd take bigger risks in free agency bringing in Muhammad Wilkerson as well as Jimmy Graham.

10. Rick Spielman, Vikings

Was de facto GM in Minnesota for six years before getting the official title in 2012, with the Vikings making five playoff appearances along the way with two NFC Championship appearances. Of all the GM's in the NFL Speilman has hit on more draft picks year in and year out than nearly anyone with the occassional free agent signing.

9. Thomas Dimitroff, Falcons

The Falcons' roster is built primarily around his draft picks, with some key veteran acquisitions, like center Alex Mack and wideout Mohamed Sanu.Dimitroff has only suffered through two losing seasons in the 10 years since he arrived, and he has the Falcons positioned to contend throughout Matt Ryan's prime.

8. Jerry Jones, Cowboys

The 'Boys have drafted this decade, with Dez Bryant, Sean Lee, Tyron Smith, DeMarco Murray, Travis Frederick, Zack Martin, DeMarcus Lawrence, Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott among those who have thrived. They have had winning seasons the past three of four years including going 12-4 and 13-3.

7. Mickey Loomis, Saints

the Saints' 2017 draft class could go down as one of the greatest in NFL history, having produced two superstars ( Marshon Lattimore and Alvin Kamara), two quality starters ( Ryan Ramczyk and Marcus Williams) and two more potential starters in 2018 ( Alex Anzalone and Trey Hendrickson). QB Drew Brees helped wn a Super Bowl a decade prior.

6. John Elway, Broncos

His first draft yielded Von Miller and Julius Thomas. Nothing can erase Elway's incredible touch in free agency building a Super Bowl champion.

5. John Schneider, Seahawks

The combination of outstanding drafts, The Marshawn Lynch trade with Buffalo and the early extensions to keep the Seahawks' core together along with hitting on QB Russell Wilson led to incredible success including 2 Super Bowl appearances with 1 title.

4. Ozzie Newsome, Ravens

The Ravens have only one losing season since 2007 and four this century, spanning two head coaches. That speaks to Newsome consistently stocking the roster with quality starters. Newsome last year is in 2018 having originally began in 1996. The Ravens though have been fading the past five years though with just one playoff appearance.

3. Howie Roseman, Eagles

There is no greater testament to a general manager's skill than winning a Super Bowl with a backup quarterback. Using a blend of new-school analytics and an old-fashioned obsession with line play, Roseman transformed the Eagles roster in just two years. The trade up to draft Carson Wentz second overall in 2016 might help define the Eagles' next decade.

2. Kevin Colbert, Steelers

The Steelers' loyalty to head coaches (they've only had three since 1969) is well-documented. The team's continuity in the front office, where Colbert has run the personnel department since 2000, is even more crucial. The Steelers have had one losing season since then, and 12 seasons with double-digit wins, including two titles.

1. Bill Belichick, Patriots

Belichick guiding the franchise on and off the field since 2000. He has led the Patriots to 17 straight winning seasons that include 15 playoff berths and 27 playoff wins that include going to 12 AFC Championship games,8 times AFC Champions,8 Super Bowl appearances and 5 Super Bowl wins.

Geez, I guess you can consider Tebow a bust but who was the bigger bust him or RG3?

Tebow drafted #25 and helped get you to the playoffs and actually won a game. Sold more merchandise than any QB in recent memory and generated attention and revenue for the franchise.

RG3 drafted #2 overall and never won a playoff game and shortly afterward flamed out.

RG3 a bust of legendary proportions, Tebow just another guy drafted at the end of the 1st round that didn’t pan out.
