The vast majority of platinum production is used for Catalytic converters. So platy is on a (likely?) long term downward spiral. EV's have no CC There are some supply/demand issues with platinum that will come into play fairly soon,. So it will have it's day and make a nice a run at some point. I will be a seller when that day comes. like MM said, it holds its value vs currencies and always will.
