Ok fellow fatties, I’m going on a diet and starting a workout program (just did 40min on treadmill) going shopping for healthy food later as I plan on losing 50lb by the end of the year (7lb a month)

 

If anybody wants to join in here’s the thread.....we can discuss certain kind of diets and workouts, along with sharing goals and pulling for one another..... food pics and gambling tips are encouraged....

I want to hear more about lifting and weight loss

 

Any diet where you eat at a deficit will work.  I think Keto works real well because you feel full and don't end up snacking on a bunch of crap.   My problem is alcohol always.  Eat real well all week, then drink a bottle of jack with 2 litter of coke on Friday night, that kills the whole week.

 

I bench, squat, deadlift, overhead press,  chins/pullups, dips.   That's about it.

I’m going to drink beer, no way I can’t ..... I think keto w/no exercise and no beer is the same as keto w/beer and exercise

 

Doesn't work.  The whole point of Keto is to get your body into Ketosis, that will only happen if you eat/drink < 25grams of Carbs per day.  One beer and that's over.  

 

If you eat/drink at a deficit you will still lose weight, you just won't be in Ketosis.

You can drink alcohol that has no carbs.  My problem was I'd mix whiskey with something like Coke that's full of cabs and then I'd fall out of Ketosis and have to start over.

 

Keto also depletes your electrolytes so make sure you take something for that or you will feel like crap at first.

I might try Fasting once a week....I'm usually bloated on Mondays because of all the beer I drank over the wkend so I'm not even hungry until dinner time as it is and really just eat out of habit...

 

I read a 1 day a week fasting is healthy and helps with weight loss.....
