Machiavelli Posted June 21, 2018 Report Share Posted June 21, 2018 We're in the midst of a great restructuring of the electorate, formerly blue collar, union, heavily democratic areas are all flipping red, because they've been abandoned by the democratic party. The dems have shifted so far left that no "normal" person can vote for them anymore. The MN iron range(duluth area), WI, MI, PA, all voted for trump and it wasn't a fluke, it was the beginning of a new era, which is why the immigration issue is the only hope for democrats to hold power, they have nothing left, even black voters are starting to abandon them. The utter desperation of the left is on display every day on TV, it's not anger at Trump, it's fear, cause they know they're losing. Dems have ceded the center.....but Reps have been grabbing power and failing to deliver. This is their chance to establish themselves as the reasonable ones and while some stuff has been needed, they've mostly failed, as they primarily cater to the wealthy/corporations. So...more needs to be done if they want to keep their gains. Otherwise the people will shift back. Doug Jones/Conor Lamb elections show that. Trump's vision could be akin to the Reagan Revolution.....or be something that ends up soundly rejected but it hasn't even had the full chance to be implemented yet. Apparently it was a message, to the press, looks like they dont get it. When an institution becomes corrupt, when they lie, mock, and belittle as a first choice, as an only choice, they become irrelevant. The press no longer matters, they can no longer sway public opinion like they once could, whereas once her wearing a jacket with a message like that "might" matter, it no longer does.
