PREDICTIONS FOR SEATTLE IN 2018:

Two things happened in 2017 that marked the end of Seattle's five years of dominance in the NFC West. Seattle missed the playoffs for the first time since 2011 and did not have a top ten defense for the first time since 2010. During those five seasons the Seahawks won three division titles, fourteen playoff games, played in two NFC Championship games winning both, played in two Super Bowls winning one. Those sweet days are now history and RB Beast Mode is gone along with CB Richard Sherman and a good chunk of the defense. The schedule this year gives no relief either as Seattle must play Green Bay,Minnesota,L.A. Chargers,Kansas City,Denver,Oakland,Carolina and the Rams,49ers and Cards all twice. Bovada/Vegas has Seattle winning 8 games and i think that number sounds about right. They could sneak a win and equal last years nine games won. We shall see....

I see a 7-9 season, at best. They're +400 to win NFC West, which ain't going to happen Niners are +300... and Cards +1300, LOL

Rams are going to easily win the NFC West again. Unbelievable.

Rams are building an all star team with all the free agents they signed. The defense will be sick with Suh/Donald/Talib/Peters.

Yep Seattle heyday is over. Without Russell Wilson they arent shit.

Yeah, they'll be dominating this division for years.

But I hope the Cards can turn things back around.

One thing right off the bat the Cards have going for them is a good defense and a defensive head coach. With Arians stepping down from coaching and Palmer retiring many media have the Cards rebuilding. Rosen is considered to be the best QB prospect of the draft and didn't have any red flag issues like Allen with bad accuracy as he had completed 56% last year. The Bills were idiots for going with Allen and letting Rosen fall and the Cards got the better guy. Accuracy is the hardest thing to teach and overcome. The Cards have a good vet Sam Bradford and Rosen is confident/smart enough that he should do well.

:cheers  The main things that were said over and over about Rosen was he was really smart and had lots of confidence. Those are the two things all the really good QB's have. They master the playbook and they have ice water in their veins and can handle any situation with calm and ease. There has been comparisons to Aaron Rodgers early on as far as how Rosen carries himself and his persona. They say Rosen loves challenges and gets bored very easily.

49ers are on the rise and have a better qb Rams aren't going to dominate anything

If Garoppolo stays healthy and Shanny is running the offense the 49ers are gonna be good and this is on offense alone. If the defense clicks too and ends up a top ten unit we could be seeing the Niners on top for a while.

As for the Rams its fucked up but they are gonna be really good as well.

Just like with the Niners the Rams offense alone will be good enough to contend for the postseason they got some serious weapons Gurley at RB and Brandin Cooks,Cooper Kupp,Robert Woods at WR along with a QB who isnt great but is simply good and thats just the offense.

The QB is young in his third year which is how the Rams afford all the extra toys right now like Suh and adding Donald and Brockers up front is scary enough for opponents but that leaves the pass right?  not so fast with Aqib Talib and Marcus Peters so if the talent gels no one will run a ball or pass one very far vs this defense.

This leaves the Cards and Seahawks. Remember its common for good divisions to have three playoff teams. Last year all teams in the division were .500 or better except one. The one thing the Seahawks had going for them in the past was the defense. Well last year for the first time in six years the defense was not top ten. The Seahawks defense isn't top ten any more because their best players have either gotten paid, moved to a new team, gotten injured, declined in skill, etc.

AZ has a really good defense and the offense gets RB David Johnson back healthy and also have Fitz/Kirk at WR. The Cards have to hope Sam Bradford/Josh Rosen can get the offense sparking.

So the AZ Cards have the best defense. check.  best RB check. best WR's check.

Cards a better team at this point than Seattle.
