PREDICTIONS FOR HOUSTON TEXANS IN 2018:

Because of injuries the Texans ended up having a really hard time last year winning just four games. Something i see a lot of media doing way too soon is trying to anoit new QB Deshaun Watson one of the best QB's in his division and the league. We've seen this song and dance already before with RG3,Vince Young, etc. duel threat guys that did great their first year before falling to earth in year two. The Texans have a talented team and QB as do most of the other teams in their division and they will have to prove to me first they are real before i think Watson is anything special. According to NFL.COM the Texans have the easiest schedule in the entire league so that will definiely help. Bovada/Vegas has Houston with 8 wins and i do think they will do better than that and win 9 or 10 games if Watson is healthy all season. The slate does have its hard parts as the Texans begin the season with New England/Tennessee and end the year with Philly/Jacksonville.

How are QBs after ACL injuries? I wouldn't think it'd slow his rushing down?

If they don't have any big injuries, I think they can easily win ten games. Some are even saying Super Bowl...

Watson and Hopkins are a great combo.

But I do agree with you about RG3 and Young...

I guess only time will tell.

Yep I see him twice a year and Hopkins is the real deal and in the conversation as one of the best WR in the NFL. Some teams are good at drafting certain positions while some have a hard time bringing in talent at that spot. The Texans have had Andre Johnson as a number 1 for years and Hopkins smoothly took his place on the roster when he came along.  When you get a lockdown number one receiver you don't let him go. You know that well from having Fitz the last 15 years. As for Watson he must stay healthy believe me i know how it feels to lose a QB to ACL or injury it happened to Mariota the good thing was the season was a week from being over. It shouldn't affect his running but he needs to be careful.
