GreenDoberman
Last year I said it was Dennis Smith Jr. This year the answer to me is obvious, Collin Sexton.

Machiavelli
Sexton has a bit of Russell Westbrook to his game. He's prob more like Eric Bledsoe, which is still damn good.
Blue
I can't narrow it down to one player but I know for sure it's not Sexton.
GreenDoberman
Well you have your opinion and I have mine Will take years to figure out who's right. One of us ran a Vegas sportsbook, worked at an elite 8 NCAA basketball athletic department, was a regional sportswriter, has a finance/ math degree. And the other, well- fucked an English middle age woman at carnival court, blew three men, and lost to. Bucket of chicken And the x on a spelling bee. Trust the process. Machiavelli
Dober, what are your thoughts on Ayton? More Oden than Robinson/Hakeem? Please say no. Ha.
GreenDoberman
Have no idea. Rae. Could go Sampson or olajuwon. Or in between. Too early to tell.

Machiavelli
Oden was only Oden because he had the knees of a 60 year old. True. Maybe I should've used Bowie then. Not like we can just predict injury for Ayton--altho if big men do get them, aren't their declines much more rapid?
Machiavelli
Jarren Jackson jr Lot of good buzz on him. Highly projectable for growth.

Machiavelli
Oden had injury problems in college too... That's true. Perhaps I am just more cautious because I really do not want Ayton/Doncic to become Oden/Durant where the Suns are left with the big man who isn't able to amount to something while Doncic thrives like Durant. So that's prob stuck in my head. I should be thankful for your somewhat reassuring that Ayton isn't as much of a risk as I sorta think. Ha. I think he's more of an Amare Stoudemire than anything.
Machiavelli
There goes his career. RIP Mr Jackson Adam Silver is gonna come to the Podium: With the 3rd pick in the Draft the Atlanta Hawks select................wait a minute. We just found out Brock Landers of TGF Mushed JJJ so the Hawks are taking Mo Bamba instead.

Same type of game and skills. Just in a bigger frame. If he's a bigger version of Amare Stoudemire? Sign me up.

Showed up in big games too. Funny thing is he has a lot in common with DS jr so I could see why you like both.
KingRevolver
Young Stoudemire was great. Guy had good springs, but the bad knees ruined him. I don't think Ayton is as good as a young Stoudemire, but I hope I'm wrong.

Ayton isn't one of the three best athletes in this draft class.

He has more length, a better outside shot, and better handles than Amare had.
